New Web Site for Award Winning School

St. James' First School, Alderholt has today launched their new web site, designed by local company Custom Internet Limited. The site launch follows their School Achievement Award for 2003 and also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the school moving to its present buildings.

The site, at www.alderholt.dorset.sch.uk carries full details of the school, with information and news for parents.

Headteacher Clare Tickel comments 'St. James' School aims to be at the centre of the local community, and our new web site will help us to provide up to date information for everyone interested in the school'.

Stephen Rothwell, Director of Custom Internet Ltd., said that 'it has been a pleasure working with the school's staff to produce a web site that carries useful content and projects a quality image of the school to parents and the community. Outsourcing their web site has enabled the staff at the school to focus on providing a top class education for the children, and we are pleased to be supporting our local school in this way'.

St. James' First School is a voluntary controlled Church of England school maintained by Dorset Local Education Authority. The school caters for children from 4 to 9 years, and is part of the Cranbome pyramid of schools.
